FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a PCM?
A Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is your vehicle's main computer. It controls fuel injection, ignition timing, transmission shifting, emissions systems, and more. When the PCM fails, your vehicle may not start, run poorly, shift erratically, or display multiple warning lights.
What does pre-programmed mean?
Pre-programmed means we configure the PCM with your vehicle's specific calibration data and VIN before shipping. The anti-theft/immobilizer system is synced to your existing keys. Simply plug it in and drive — no dealer programming required.
Will my keys still work?
Yes. We program the security/immobilizer system to accept your existing keys and key fobs. No rekey or dealer visit is needed.
How long does installation take?
Most PCM installations take 15–30 minutes with basic hand tools (usually a 10mm socket). Disconnect the battery, swap the old module for the new one, reconnect the battery, and start your vehicle.
How fast do you ship?
Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST ship the same business day. We offer free shipping via USPS Priority Mail (3–5 business days). Tracking is provided via email.
What if the PCM doesn't fix my problem?
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If the PCM doesn't resolve your issue, return it for a full refund. We also provide a prepaid return shipping label.
What does the warranty cover?
Our free lifetime warranty covers any defect in materials or workmanship that causes the PCM to fail under normal use. We'll replace it at no cost, including free shipping.
