The History Of Dodge Dakota            Dodge Dakota was built for people who wanted a smaller version of full-sized truck. Thanks to its excellent design and superior engineering, it became one of the most technically advanced vehicles in its niche. Moreover, the 1997 redesign created a Club Cab model and introduced a front end that looked like a front end of Dodge Ram. The regular model of Dodge Dakota was available either with an 8 foot or 6.5 foot bed box.            In 1998, the performance of Dodge Dakota was enhanced by an addition of an R\/T version. It featured a 5.9-liter Magnum V-8 engine which had a horsepower of 250. This engine was also available for a pickup version of this truck. For a while, Dodge Dakota was the only pickup truck of middle size with an V-8 engine available in the United States. This changed in 2009 when the SS models of Chevrolet Colorado came along.            In 2000, Quad Cab model was introduced. It had four doors and many important changes.
